It's Summer and time to fire up our WorkdKayak Hometown Throwdowns. We are planning 6 events this year. Our first 2 Throwdowns will be
June 26 - 5:00pm
July 3 - 10:30am

These first two will be held on Fridays. We will announce the last 4 dates and times in a few weeks.

you can catch us at Kelly's Whitewater Park in beautiful Cascade Idaho. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might be interested in participating. It's free…kids, men and women are all welcome.

Hometown Throwdowns are designed to bring communities of recreational boaters together in the spirit of simple competition with an emphasis on fun.
The series is based on the legendary Maryland Chute Outs, with simple and light-hearted scoring criteria that allows anyone to succeed. Points can be earned from front surfs, window shades, paddle waves and standard playboat maneuvers. Sometimes we even throw in a fun boater-cross at the end, just 'cuz.

To keep the focus on participation, prizes will not be awarded to the top rides, but will be raffled off to give all participants a chance to win.
